Quick Ride is India�s largest carpooling and bike pooling platform. The Quick Ride application facilitates ride-sharing by giving users a choice to either offer or find rides.

Q: What is carpooling/bike pooling/ride-sharing?

In simple terms, carpooling/bike pooling/ride-sharing refers to sharing empty seats in a vehicle. People commuting from one point to another can share empty seats with other passengers who are travelling on the same route.

Q: How does a user benefit from Quick Ride?

Quick Ride is an application which allows users to share rides, share commuting costs, reduce traffic and pollution, all at the same time. A ride giver reduces his/her commuting costs by sharing fuel expenses with other passengers. A ride taker gets to share empty seats in ride giver�s vehicle and has a comfortable commute.

Q: How is it environment-friendly?

Quick Ride helps in reducing the number of vehicles on the road. Quick Ride facilitates the users to fill up the empty seats in already commuting vehicles that go empty.

This cancellation policy is introduced to ensure both drivers and passengers avoid last-minute cancellations as far as possible.

Local/ Rental and Airport Trips

If cancelled before Driver start to pickup location	No cancellation fee
After driver started to pickup location	₹50

Outstation Trips

CONDITION	CANCELLATION FEE
Cancels 6 hours before the trip start time	No cancellation Fee
Cancels before 2 hours of the trip start time	10% of Trip Fare
Cancels within 2 hours of the trip start time	20% of Trip Fare

Our system will do thorough due diligence based on the cancellation reason selected and past cancellation behavior of both the drivers and passengers involved before deciding whom to apply the penalty on. Hence it is very important to select the right cancellation reason always at the time of cancellation to build a good trust score on the platform.
As a compensation for the inconvenience caused to you due to the driver, once the penalty is charged from them, that will be credited to your account.
In case of any discrepancy on your cancellation penalty, you can go to help section from the trip report of that ride and raise a support request. Our system will review and resolve the query.
